01Who this policy covers

HaulerBase, Inc. operates this website and the HaulerBase platform. This policy applies to visitors to this website, to people who request a demo or open a support request, and to the staff of companies that hold a HaulerBase account.

Where a moving company uses HaulerBase to collect information from its own customers, that company is the controller of its customers’ information and HaulerBase acts as its processor. The Data Processing Addendum governs that relationship.

02Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information.

• Account information — name, work email, company name, phone number and role.
• Usage information — pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
• Request information — anything you type into a demo request, support request or email to us.
• Billing information — held by our payment processor. HaulerBase does not store full card numbers.
• Customer content — inventory, media, quotes, agreements and reservations submitted through an account, held on behalf of the account holder.

03Why we use it

We use personal information to provide and secure the service, to answer requests, to bill accounts, to detect and prevent abuse, to meet legal obligations, and to understand which parts of the product and the website are used.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the customer content held on behalf of an account holder to market to their customers.

04Analytics and cookies

This website uses product analytics to understand navigation and conversion. Non-essential analytics and marketing cookies are set only after consent, and consent can be withdrawn at any time. The Cookie Policy lists each category and what it does.

05Sharing

We share personal information with service providers that host, process payments, send email, deliver messages and monitor errors, each under contract and only to provide the service. We share information when required by law, and in connection with a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply until it is superseded.

06Retention

Account information is kept for as long as the account is open and for the period after closure required to meet legal, tax and dispute-resolution obligations. Customer content is retained according to the account holder’s instructions and the Data Processing Addendum. Website analytics are retained in aggregate.

07Your choices

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, object to certain processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. Where information was submitted through a moving company’s HaulerBase account, we will route the request to that company as the controller.

08Security

Information is transmitted over TLS, access to production systems is restricted and audited, and privileged actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected parties and regulators of a breach where the law requires it.
