Section 01
Set it up in this order
- 1Start the trial and open the accountEvery plan starts with a 14-day free trial. A payment method is required to open the account, and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
- 2Add your brandingLogo, colours and company details. These are what your customer sees on every page, email and document, so set them before you send anyone a link.
- 3Load your rate sheetLane rates, minimums, margins and priced service add-ons. Until these are configured the pricing engine has nothing to price against.
- 4Connect StripeRequired only if you are taking deposits. The deposit is captured on your own Stripe account and settles to you on your own payout schedule.
- 5Run one session yourselfOpen your own booking link, build a small inventory, qualify it and read the quote. It is the fastest way to find a rate you configured wrongly.
Section 02
What to check before the first real customer
- The quote total on your test session is a number you would actually charge.
- Your logo and company name appear on the customer-facing pages, and HaulerBase does not.
- The confidence threshold is set where you want it while you are still learning what the queue looks like.
- Someone on your team is watching the review queue during business hours.
Section 03
If something looks wrong
Almost every surprising number in a first quote traces back to the rate sheet rather than to the inventory. Open the session, read the itemized inventory first to confirm the volume is right, then check the lane, the minimum and the add-ons that were applied.
If the inventory is right and the price still is not, open a support ticket with the session and the quote version. That is enough for us to reproduce it exactly.
